Linen Attendant

Role Overview

The Linen Attendant will oversee the management and upkeep of linen inventory, ensuring all linens such as sheets, towels, and tablecloths are clean and well-stocked. This position supports both the laundry and housekeeping departments to enhance the guest experience.

Core Responsibilities

• Maintain and control linen inventory, including sheets, towels, and tablecloths.
• Keep the linen storage area clean and systematically arranged.
• Track linen stock levels and restock supplies as needed.
• Distribute clean linens to housekeeping and other hotel sectors.
• Inspect linens for cleanliness, quality, and presentability.
• Handle any issues such as stains, damages, or special laundering requirements.
• Collaborate closely with laundry and housekeeping teams to fulfill linen demands.
• Keep accurate records of linen inventories and distribution activities.
• Assist in managing linen supply inventories.
• Report any shortages or problems regarding linens to relevant departments.
• Maintain high levels of guest service to ensure satisfaction.
• Engage in environmental and safety programs as part of daily operations.
• Attend trainings to improve skills related to linen management.
• Carry out duties safely and in ways that protect guest and staff health, as well as support environmental conservation.
• Comply fully with company policies on environmental health and safety.
