About The Role
LPI Group is seeking experienced Lightning Protection Technicians to contribute to our global projects. Reporting to the project manager and site supervisor, you will be responsible for the daily planning, coordination, and execution of LPI projects. The core function of this role involves installing lightning protection and earthing systems on diverse structures across various sectors, including private, public, industrial, commercial, and data centers. This position offers a significant opportunity to influence our company's success.
What You'll Do
- Install comprehensive lightning protection and earthing systems on data centers and various tall structures, adhering strictly to pre-designed schematics, drawings, risk assessments, and method statements.
- Execute upgrades to existing lightning protection systems according to specified instructions.
- Meticulously complete all required company documentation, including point-of-work risk assessments, job sheets, updated drawings, material lists, and timesheets, ensuring timely submission to the office team.
- Facilitate clear onsite communication and provide expert advice to clients or project managers, consistently upholding the company's professional image.
- Uphold a steadfast commitment to health, safety, and environmental standards, ensuring all tasks are performed safely and in compliance with regulations.
What You'll Need
- Demonstrated experience within the construction industry or a comparable field.
- While not mandatory, electrical experience is considered a valuable asset.
- Previous involvement in commercial and industrial projects is required.
- Exceptional abilities in problem-solving, communication, and collaborative teamwork.
- A thorough understanding of and dedication to health and safety standards and protocols, along with familiarity with the EQHS Management System.
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of additional languages such as German, Dutch, French, or Spanish is beneficial but not essential.
- Possession of a Safe Pass certification.
- Completion of Manual Handling training.
- Certification in Working At Height.
- IPAFF training.
