About the Role

Midlands State University is seeking suitably qualified and experienced candidates for four Library Technical Assistant positions at Kwekwe Campus within the Library Department.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A National Certificate in Library and Information Science is required.
  • Applicants must have at least five Ordinary Level subjects, including English Language and Mathematics.
  • At least one year of hands-on experience working in a library is essential.

Key Duties

  • Oversee the library entrance and exit control system.
  • Check whether library users are properly registered.
  • Clear reading areas and return books to the shelves.
  • Identify damaged or torn books and compile them for repair.
