General Requirements
- Candidates must hold the specified academic qualification in the relevant specialty from Saudi universities or those recognized and approved by the Ministry of Education, with certification of degree equivalency provided when applicable.

- A minimum bachelor's degree grade of "Good" is required.

Job Details
The position is a full-time administrative role requiring 48 working hours per week and is based at Alghad College of Applied Medical Sciences in Jeddah. This is a one-year contract position.
Compensation and employment benefits will be determined and offered following a successful interview.

Qualifications & Experience
- A bachelor's degree in Library Science, Information Science, or Library and Information Studies is mandatory.
- Candidates are expected to have at least two years of experience in the relevant field.
Key Responsibilities
- Activate and facilitate the use of the Saudi Digital Library databases.
- Recommend updates to the library management manuals including library policy guides and usage instructions.
- Coordinate with academic departments to identify the college's needs for references, books, journals, bulletins, and other learning resources.
- Manage and maintain library systems including cataloguing and ensure continuous system updates.
- Archive and organize various learning media including audio, visual, printed materials, and multimedia resources within the library.
- Prepare and distribute a monthly bulletin showcasing new references and updates to the college community.
- Ensure adequate measures are in place to protect library contents.
- Oversee lending processes both internally and externally.
- Collaborate with academic staff to identify emerging reference materials and knowledge sources for addition to the library collection.
- Conduct training workshops for faculty members and students to familiarize them with library services and resources.
- Gather feedback from students and staff regarding the quality of library services provided.
- Propose library activities that can be digitized for enhanced accessibility.
Skills & Preferences
- Possession of a bachelor's degree in the required field.
- A minimum GPA of "Good" or higher in the bachelor's degree.
- Full-time study mode for all undergraduate qualifications.
- Equivalency certification required for degrees from non-Saudi universities.
- Prior relevant work experience is preferred.
