About the Organization
SEWAK Social & Environmental Welfare Association of Khilchipur is a non-profit organization with more than 20 years of experience working in skill development, livelihood generation, women’s empowerment, and entrepreneurship support. The organization is seeking a driven Liaison Officer to help expand CSR partnerships and strengthen resource mobilization efforts across India.
Role Overview
This position is based in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, and will require travel. The selected professional will work closely with the leadership team to build relationships with corporate, government, and philanthropic stakeholders, while identifying funding opportunities and supporting end-to-end partnership development.
Key Responsibilities
- Source and pursue CSR funding prospects from companies, public sector undertakings, foundations, and philanthropic bodies.
- Develop and nurture connections with CSR leaders, corporate decision-makers, government teams, and development partners.
- Arrange and participate in meetings, presentations, and discussions with potential CSR supporters.
- Maintain a strong portfolio of CSR initiatives aligned with Schedule VII of the Companies Act.
- Assist in preparing proposals, concept notes, memoranda of understanding, and other partnership-related documents.
- Monitor CSR leads, RFPs, and funding updates to spot new opportunities.
- Represent the organization at CSR conferences, forums, networking events, and industry gatherings.
- Support leadership in growing strategic collaborations and mobilizing resources for projects.
Candidate Profile
The ideal applicant should have a background in Management, Social Work, Public Relations, Marketing, or a closely related discipline, along with 3 to 8 years of relevant experience in CSR, corporate relations, government liaisoning, business development, NGO partnerships, or institutional fundraising. Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and networking skills are essential. Prior exposure to proposal writing or CSR project coordination will be considered an advantage. The role also requires readiness to travel across India.
