  • Work alongside environment artists to plan and create engaging play spaces for users.
  • Develop, place, and refine gameplay systems such as puzzles, combat encounters, and related interactive setups.
  • Prepare, revise, and keep detailed level design documents up to date.

  • Hands-on experience creating content in Unreal Engine and/or UEFN, with working knowledge of C++, Blueprints, and/or the Verse scripting language.
  • Strong ability to collaborate with stakeholders, work through complex problems, and build agreement across teams.
  • Interest in Disney intellectual property, including characters, lore, linear media, film franchises, theme park design, and overall visual style.
  • Creative mindset with a drive to solve problems and develop fresh, original ideas.
  • Clear understanding of what makes gameplay systems enjoyable and engaging.
  • Experience working with 3D game engines and awareness of their design strengths and constraints.
  • Strong communication skills when working with cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of established level design standards and practices across different game genres.
  • Motivation to create new experiences that encourage cooperative play.
