Role overview
A busy residential property team in Dublin is looking for a motivated, client-oriented Lettings Negotiator. The role suits someone with previous residential lettings or estate agency experience who can confidently manage landlord and tenant relationships while helping deliver strong lettings results.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee the full lettings journey, from the first enquiry to completion of the lease agreement.
- Attend and conduct property viewings for potential tenants.
- Develop and nurture positive working relationships with landlords and tenants.
- Guide landlords on current market trends, achievable rents, and how to present their properties well.
- Handle rent negotiations between property owners and prospective tenants.
- Promote listings through several channels and respond to incoming leads.
- Screen applicants and arrange reference checks when needed.
- Work in line with property laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Keep CRM and property records accurate and up to date.
- Work toward both personal and team lettings targets.
Experience and requirements
- At least 2 to 3 years of experience in residential lettings or estate agency.
- Good understanding of the Dublin residential property market.
- Strong verbal communication and negotiation abilities.
- A track record of building relationships and providing excellent customer service.
- A self-motivated, target-focused approach with a strong drive for results.
- Well-developed organisational skills and a sharp eye for detail.
- Full, clean driving licence is required.
- Property-related qualification such as a PSRA licence or an equivalent credential is preferred.
- Experience with property management systems or CRM tools is an advantage.
- Knowledge of tenancy law and compliance obligations is desirable.
