About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Legal Specialist for a contract role that offers remote working flexibility. The position requires reviewing, analyzing, and revising commercial contracts to ensure legal compliance and alignment with business goals. The specialist will provide expert guidance on employment law, structured finance, private equity, mergers and acquisitions, and SaaS agreements while also interpreting regulatory standards and assessing international data privacy practices.

Key Responsibilities

Examine and amend commercial contracts for accuracy and legal conformity.
Offer specialized advice on employment law, structured finance, private equity, and M&A issues.
Review SaaS Master Service Agreements (MSAs) to identify risks and suggest enhancements.
Interpret complex regulations and develop guidelines to maintain compliance.
Evaluate data privacy policies aligning with global regulations.
Work with cross-functional teams to clarify legal issues and provide clear written feedback.

Qualifications and Requirements

Active Bar membership in good standing.
Proven minimum experience practicing law, focusing on commercial contracts, employment law, and structured finance.
In-depth expertise in private equity, mergers and acquisitions, and regulatory compliance.
Demonstrated skill in contract revision and negotiation with meticulous attention to detail.
Practical experience reviewing SaaS MSAs and advising on data privacy matters.
Outstanding communication skills with the ability to simplify complex legal information.

Additional Information

Contract role requiring 10 to 40 hours per week commitment.
Compensation ranges from $40 to $110 per hour.
