Job Overview
The role focuses on delivering comprehensive legal and corporate governance assistance. Key duties include reviewing, drafting, and managing contracts and legal papers, performing legal research, preparing legal opinions, and ensuring adherence to all relevant laws and company policies. The position also supports company secretarial functions to uphold corporate governance standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in contract and legal document review, drafting, and administration.
- Conduct legal research and aid in compiling legal advice and opinions.
- Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and internal governance policies.
- Support administration of board and committee activities as part of company secretarial duties.
- Help manage litigation matters and liaise with external legal counsel.
- Improve management of legal records and documentation processes.
- Enhance responsiveness to legal support requests from internal stakeholders.
Operational Duties
- Follow standardized legal administrative procedures ensuring operational continuity.
- Meet daily production, quality, and service benchmarks.
- Provide indirect services to clients and intermediaries by handling requests within procedural guidelines.
- Employ administrative techniques for effective coordination of own workload.
- Maintain intermediate to advanced technical knowledge and demonstrate partial multi-skilling relevant to the business context.
