Legal Executive - Real Estate and Property Documentation

About the Role

We are seeking a meticulous Legal Executive specializing in real estate to manage all legal paperwork and sub-registrar formalities connected to our property projects in Gujarat.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft and scrutinize property documents, including Sale Deeds, Agreement to Sale, General Power of Attorney (GPA), and Lease Deeds, in both English and Gujarati languages.
• Manage registration processes at the Sub-Registrar’s office, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
• Conduct thorough due diligence by examining all title documents associated with land and real estate transactions.
• Handle land records such as 7/12 Utara, 8A forms, NA permissions, Form 6, Index II, Encumbrance Certificates (EC), and other related revenue documents.
• Coordinate and maintain communication with lawyers, clients, government departments, and banks to facilitate documentation workflows.
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws including RERA, Stamp Duty regulations, and the Registration Act.

Requirements

• Educational qualification: LLB, Diploma in Law, or any graduate with applicable legal documentation experience.
• Proficiency in English and Gujarati for both reading and drafting legal paperwork.
• Practical experience of 3 to 5 years in property documentation and preparation of sale deeds along with knowledge of Sub-Registrar Office registration procedures.
• Deep understanding of Gujarat’s land legislation and revenue record management.
• Strong communication abilities, document filing skills, and persistent follow-up capabilities.

Preferred Candidate Profile

Candidates with prior exposure to real estate, construction, or legal firms operating within Gujarat are preferred.
