Legal Content Writer - US Immigration Law (Remote)

About the Role

Gehi & Associates is seeking a knowledgeable Legal Content Writer specializing in US Immigration Law to join its team remotely on a full-time basis. This role requires producing precise, well-researched, and engaging legal content for a variety of digital channels. The position demands attention to detail and up-to-date expertise in immigration legal matters, with working hours from Monday through Saturday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM EST.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform in-depth research related to US Immigration Law and its developments.
• Develop clear, accurate, and compelling content tailored for digital media including blogs, newsletters, and social media.
• Draft legal documentation and content for immigration-related forms such as visa applications, green cards, and naturalization paperwork.
• Work collaboratively with diverse teams to align content with project goals.
• Keep all published content current with ongoing changes in the legal landscape.
• Review and edit content thoroughly to maintain high standards of accuracy and consistency.
• Stay informed on current trends and advancements in legal content writing and related technologies.
• Maintain open communication about project status and challenges with management and stakeholders.

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in law, English, journalism, or similar fields.
• At least 3 years of professional legal content writing experience focused on US Immigration Law.
• Proven expertise and thorough understanding of US Immigration legal processes.
• Strong research capabilities paired with exceptional writing, proofreading, and editorial skills.
• Ability to effectively collaborate within cross-functional teams.
• Detail-oriented with solid problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication proficiency.
• Capability to juggle multiple assignments and meet deadlines efficiently.

Preferred Attributes

• Master’s degree in law, English, journalism or related field is advantageous.
• Familiarity with SEO principles and digital marketing techniques.
• Experience using WordPress and other content management platforms.
• Background working in legal firms or law departments.
