This position includes drafting, formatting, and reviewing legal documents, correspondence, and court filings; keeping case files and discovery materials organized; monitoring calendars and deadlines; and coordinating communications with clients, courts, and opposing counsel. The role also covers basic legal and factual research, case management system updates, and assistance with e-filing and document handling using the firm’s approved technology tools. • Maintain organized case files, evidence, and discovery records.
  • Track schedules, deadlines, and court-related dates with accuracy.
  • Coordinate communication with clients, courts, and opposing counsel.
  • Carry out basic legal and factual research using online databases and public records, then summarize the results clearly.
  • Update case management systems and manage documents using approved firm tools.
  • Support electronic filing and related document management tasks.
  • Work independently in a remote setting while staying in regular contact with attorneys and team members across jurisdictions.

Requirements

  • Strong legal administrative experience in document preparation, file organization, scheduling, and deadline tracking.
  • Working knowledge of legal technology, including case management software, e-filing systems, and document management platforms.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication abilities with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to perform basic legal and factual research and present findings clearly.
  • Strong planning and time-management skills in a busy litigation environment.
  • Capacity to work independently remotely and collaborate effectively with distributed legal teams.
  • Experience as a Legal Assistant, Litigation Assistant, or Paralegal is a strong advantage.
  • Associate’s degree, paralegal certificate, or equivalent legal support experience is preferred.
  • Commitment to confidentiality, professional ethics, and client service standards.
