Park Place Personnel is collaborating with an established Personal Injury law firm in Florida, known for its employee-centric culture. The firm is currently expanding its legal team and seeks a Legal Assistant to contribute in a remote capacity across the United States.

Role Overview

The Legal Assistant will provide crucial administrative and legal support focused on personal injury cases. Duties include assisting with client intake, managing litigation coordination, organizing legal documents, and supporting the daily operations of the legal department in a fast-paced and collaborative work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide legal and administrative support to attorneys managing personal injury cases.
  • Assist with the preparation and organization of litigation documents.
  • Maintain thorough and accurate case files and documentation.
  • Coordinate administrative aspects throughout the litigation lifecycle.
  • Act as a professional contact for both prospective and current clients, managing client intake and collecting needed information.
  • Communicate courteously and empathetically with plaintiffs, while strictly maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Prepare and manage legal correspondence, schedule case-related meetings and appointments, maintain electronic and paper filing systems, and perform general administrative tasks to support legal operations.
  • Work collaboratively with attorneys, paralegals, and administrative staff to ensure efficient office functioning and timely completion of tasks.
  • Contribute to an organized, positive, and team-oriented workplace atmosphere.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a Legal Assistant or similar legal administrative role.
  • Foundational knowledge of personal injury law, litigation procedures, and client intake processes.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication capabilities.
  • High attention to detail with a commitment to confidentiality.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal document management platforms.
  • Preferred experience includes personal injury litigation support, familiarity with legal case management software, experience working remotely in legal settings, and competent client relationship management.
