Role Overview
The organization is looking for a Paralegal to help with legal and compliance work across a growing portfolio. This position suits someone who thrives in a fast-moving setting, can juggle a wide range of legal tasks, and works well with teams across the business to keep operations compliant and efficient.
Key Responsibilities
- Support legal work related to landlord-tenant issues, including lease paperwork, notices, eviction matters, and other property management legal processes.
- Assist with employment and labor law matters by helping prepare and maintain related legal documents and compliance materials.
- Prepare, submit, and track business licenses, registrations, and corporate compliance records.
- Handle several legal priorities at once in a multi-state environment with changing business needs.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with landlord-tenant matters, especially lease documentation, notices, evictions, and legal processes tied to property management.
- Practical understanding of U.S. employment and labor law, along with the ability to support related documentation and compliance tasks.
- Experience in preparing, filing, and maintaining business licenses, registrations, and corporate compliance records.
- Proven ability to manage multiple legal assignments at the same time in a fast-paced, multi-state environment.
Position Type
This is an hourly role created to provide continuing legal support as business demands change. Weekly hours may fluctuate depending on project needs and operational volume. While the number of hours each week is not guaranteed, the engagement is intended to be ongoing and long term rather than temporary.
