Position Summary

The paralegal/legal assistant role involves assisting attorneys and clients in a fast-paced, supervised setting, requiring strong communication skills and the ability to operate both independently and collaboratively. The candidate will handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain attorneys' schedules and monitor litigation deadlines.
  • Handle court filings throughout California.
  • Liaise with clients, prospects, and governmental bodies.
  • Prepare, edit, review, and finalize legal documents.
  • Offer administrative support and manage vendor relationships.
  • Develop and implement office systems and procedures.
  • Coordinate and oversee special projects.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or comparable experience required.
  • Extensive experience in litigation filings.
  • Background as a paralegal or legal assistant.
  • Strong organizational aptitude with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Paralegal certification is beneficial but not mandatory.
