About the Role
A respected family law firm in Boston is seeking a seasoned Legal Administrative Assistant to join their team on a full-time basis. This position serves as the trusted right hand to the firm's President and provides legal and administrative assistance to multiple attorneys. Key Responsibilities
- Offer comprehensive legal and administrative support to several attorneys engaged in family law practice.
- Act as the primary administrative contact for the firm's President, managing daily operational activities.
- Draft, revise, and proofread various legal documents including pleadings, motions, discovery materials, settlement agreements, correspondence, and court filings.
- File court documents electronically, ensuring adherence to all court rules and deadlines.
- Organize and maintain attorney calendars by scheduling hearings, mediations, depositions, client meetings, and appointments.
- Maintain professional communication with clients, courts, opposing counsel, and external vendors.
- Provide a warm and professional reception to clients and visitors.
- Keep both electronic and physical case files systematically organized.
- Assist with client intake processes, file creation, document organization, and record management.
- Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, ensuring timely follow-up actions.
- Support financial documentation handling related to billing and expense tracking.
- Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, legal assistants, and office personnel to enable smooth workflow.
- Handle sensitive legal and financial information discreetly and confidentially.
- Anticipate attorneys' needs and actively support day-to-day office operations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Legal Assistant, Legal Administrative Assistant, or Legal Secretary within a law firm setting.
- Demonstrated ability supporting multiple attorneys in a demanding legal environment.
- Proficiency in electronic court filing (e-filing) systems.
- Excellent organizational, multitasking, and time management capabilities.
- Strong attention to detail and accurate work output.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Professional demeanor with a client-oriented approach.
- Effective interpersonal skills to build positive relationships internally and externally.
- Competent using Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, and legal document management software.
- Ability to manage competing priorities while sustaining high accuracy standards.
- Experience in handling confidential legal and financial documents responsibly.
- Self-driven and collaborative work style.

Compensation and Benefits
- Annual salary ranging between $72,000 and $80,000, depending on experience.
