Job description
Position Overview
The Windsor Forest Colleges Group seeks a part-time Lecturer in English to teach at the Berkshire College of Agriculture campus. This role involves delivering lessons to post-16 students to enhance their reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills aligned with GCSE or Functional Skills qualifications. The position is a permanent contract with a part-time commitment of 0.8 full-time equivalent.
Key Duties
- Design and conduct stimulating English lessons tailored to varying learner abilities and backgrounds.
- Collaborate closely with Learning Support Assistants to customize teaching approaches ensuring all students can participate fully and make progress.
- Use assessment tools to identify learner needs, bridge knowledge gaps, and support continuous improvement.
- Promote student attendance and bolster learners' confidence in English.
