Role overview

H&M is seeking a part-time Lease Administrator in Sydney for a permanent role based on a three-day work week. In this position, you will help manage lease administration activities, support rent-related processes, and keep lease records accurate and up to date.

Key responsibilities

  • Serve as the initial contact for questions from landlords and internal teams about lease administration.
  • Assist with rent-related activities such as turnover rent, invoicing, and collecting sales data.
  • Keep lease details current in internal systems, including new setups, amendments, and data accuracy checks.
  • Help investigate and resolve mismatches in lease records, invoices, and data.
  • Support contract completion, document tracking, and routine document control tasks.
  • Review lease information regularly to confirm important dates and rent terms are correct.
  • Share lease information with the accounting team so payments can be processed accurately and on time.
  • Work with internal stakeholders to improve processes and day-to-day ways of working.

Team and reporting line

You will report to the Expansion Manager and work closely with the broader Expansion team, as well as partner with Legal, Finance, Facilities, and Construction.

Profile and qualifications

The ideal candidate has a degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a similar discipline, or is currently studying toward one. Experience in Property, Leasing, or Real Estate is preferred, though candidates with transferable office administration experience and a solid accounting background may also be considered. Previous exposure to contract administration or document management is important.

You should be highly detail-oriented, well-organised, and comfortable handling numbers along with basic financial or lease-related information. Strong MS Office skills are expected, especially Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams. Clear communication, a cooperative approach, reliability, and the ability to manage deadlines are also essential. An analytical mindset and an interest in improving accuracy and processes will be valuable in this role.
