Overview
This is a remote Learning Designer opportunity for candidates based in Canada, offered through a partner company that handles the application review and the next stages of the hiring process. The role focuses on creating learning experiences that help customers understand, adopt, and get the most value from innovative software products.
You will turn complex technical material into clear, engaging learning content, while working closely with product, implementation, service delivery, and other internal teams. The role blends instructional design, creativity, and technology to improve how people learn and use digital platforms.
This position is fully remote, supports work across North America, and offers a collaborative environment that values innovation, ongoing learning, and high-quality customer experiences.
Accountabilities
- Build training materials, learning activities, assessments, and supporting resources for clients.
- Convert technical documentation and product details into simple, engaging instructional content.
- Support clients during implementation with learning solutions that improve adoption and product understanding.
- Work with Learning Design colleagues and cross-functional partners such as product, UI, and service delivery teams.
- Create onboarding and training materials for internal employee learning initiatives.
- Contribute ideas in brainstorming sessions to strengthen e-learning approaches and learning programs.
- Develop creative digital learning assets using instructional design methods and modern tools.
- Review and refine training methods continuously to improve learner engagement and effectiveness.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience producing high-quality training content for software applications or digital products.
- A certificate, diploma, or equivalent qualification in instructional design, adult learning, curriculum development, or a related area.
- Solid understanding of instructional design principles and the ability to create engaging learning experiences.
- Hands-on experience with tools such as Adobe products, Zoom, Pages, Keynote, or similar content-creation platforms.
- Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken, along with careful attention to detail.
- Ability to break down complex technical ideas and present them clearly to varied audiences.
- Good collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Curiosity, adaptability, and a commitment to continuous learning.
- Experience in SaaS, software implementation, or the utility sector is a plus, but not mandatory.
