Overview
PM Group in Cork is expanding its highly experienced Planning team, boasting over 200 years of combined expertise, as it prepares for several large-scale projects. We invite applications for a senior-level Lead Planner/Scheduler to join this distinguished group and contribute to managing complex project scheduling across a variety of initiatives with long-term career prospects.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee large, complex process projects exceeding €100 million in value.
- Lead the Planning project team and provide mentorship to new employees and recent graduates.
- Deliver effective scheduling throughout all design phases, construction, and commissioning stages.
- Develop and maintain productive relationships with clients to ensure alignment of objectives and successful project outcomes.
- Define project goals in partnership with clients and ensure timelines and targets are achieved.
- Execute projects adhering to established Quality and Management systems.
- Create and manage detailed project schedules and utilize project controls tools effectively.
- Identify project milestones, provide monitoring, and report performance regularly.
- Facilitate Interactive Planning Workshops as chair or host.
- Develop and analyze critical path schedules to guide project execution.
- Collaborate closely with project management teams, providing routine schedule performance status updates.
- Determine resource requirements necessary for project scheduling.
- Design and distribute tools that support target completion of project objectives.
- Provide performance reports to identify variance and recommend corrective measures.
Candidate Requirements
Applicants must have substantial experience supporting pharmaceutical projects and a comprehensive understanding of the capital project lifecycle phases specific to the pharmaceutical industry.
