Job description
Role overview
This position is responsible for leading maintenance operations at a 20 TPD agri-residue-based CBG facility in Suratgarh. The role is focused on keeping plant assets dependable, reducing unplanned stoppages, and supporting safe day-to-day operations.
Experience
Candidates should have 5 to 8 years of experience in maintaining process plants. Prior exposure to biogas, utilities, and gas-handling systems will be an added advantage.
Education
A bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent qualification is preferred. Applicants with a diploma and substantial practical experience may also be considered.
Responsibilities
You will oversee preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities. The role also involves managing mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation systems, along with spares planning, vendor follow-up, technical records, and adherence to safety requirements.
Key technical strengths
The job calls for strong knowledge of rotating machinery, gas compressors, pumps, electrical panels, and control systems. Familiarity with maintenance planning tools such as CMMS, root-cause analysis, safety practices, and utility systems including air, water, and gas is important.
