Lead Business Analyst - FDI, Co-Lending & Sector Solutions

Role Overview

This position is focused on driving strategic growth initiatives through the delivery of Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) expansion, co-lending programs, and sector-specific financing solutions across several key markets including Qatar, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Egypt, Iraq, Turkey, and Syria. The lead Business Analyst will bridge business units with risk, credit, operations, and technology teams to support the development of new lending capabilities and enhancements to credit frameworks along with digitization of lending platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze investment opportunities and clearly document business requirements related to FDI and co-lending ventures.
• Support enhancements to credit policies and frameworks ensuring alignment with strategic lending growth.
• Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders to enable the implementation of lending platform modernization.
• Facilitate strategic partnerships and support lending growth initiatives across regional markets.

Required Experience and Skills

• At least 7 years of professional experience within the banking sector, particularly in corporate banking, structured finance, or investment banking.
• Demonstrated success in business development, lending expansion, and handling co-lending or syndicated finance structures.
• Hands-on experience with credit policy transformations, risk framework design, and digital lending initiatives.
• Deep understanding of lending products, credit workflow, FDI ecosystems, and cross-border financing.
• Strong stakeholder management capabilities with experience engaging senior management, regulators, investors, and partners.
• Proficiency in English and Arabic languages.
• Established networks within targeted regional markets and relevant sector exposure are highly preferred.
• Based in Qatar with regional market experience in any of the listed countries.
