Business Analyst - Core Banking Transformation (Corporate SME)

Overview

We are looking for a seasoned Business Analyst focusing on Core Banking Transformation to join our team in Doha, Qatar. This role primarily involves supporting corporation-wide initiatives centered around the Temenos T24 Core Banking system upgrade. The role requires deep expertise in Retail and Corporate Banking operations, including managing business analysis, defining operating models, requirements management, data migration, testing, and guiding change management across the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Capture, analyze, and document detailed business requirements and develop comprehensive Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) and Functional Specification Documents (FSDs).
• Facilitate interactive workshops with stakeholders to refine requirements and conduct detailed fit-gap analysis along with impact assessments.
• Serve as the Subject Matter Expert for Retail and Corporate Banking operations within the Temenos T24 transformation framework.
• Support end-to-end implementation and migration efforts, including defining target operating models (TOM), optimizing business processes, and ensuring compliance with business and regulatory needs.
• Design and implement standardized operating procedures, creating as-is and to-be process maps, and recommending operational enhancements and automation opportunities.
• Lead data migration efforts including strategy development, data mapping, cleansing, validation of customer and transactional data, reconciliation tasks, and coordination between technical and business teams.
• Oversee testing phases by developing detailed test cases, leading System Integration Testing (SIT), coordinating User Acceptance Testing (UAT), managing issue resolution, and supporting production deployment and stabilization.
• Drive change management by preparing SOPs, user manuals, training materials, facilitating training sessions, and enabling business readiness and adoption.
• Coordinate closely with business users, IT staff, and external vendors, manage project deliverables, and provide regular updates at steering committee meetings.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Finance, Banking, Business Administration, Engineering, or related fields.
• Mandatory Temenos T24 certification.
• Preferred certifications include CBAP, PMP, PMI-PBA, Agile Scrum, and ITIL Foundation.
• At least 11 years of progressive experience in Core Banking Transformation projects.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with Temenos T24 Islamic AA and TPH implementations.
• Practical experience as a Business Analyst or SME on the client side, with a strong background in Middle East banking sector's Retail and Corporate Banking operations.
