Overview
Qatar Airways is inviting applications for the role of Lead Ancillary Sales Officer within its Central Business Intelligence team, based in Doha. This position involves support in product development planning and implementation, along with managing daily ancillary product operations aimed at boosting additional revenue streams across all sales platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Utilize in-depth knowledge of airline commercial principles to assess ancillary product performance and discover enhancement possibilities.
- Conduct assessment and analysis of novel ancillary products and innovative technologies aligned with the airline's Ancillary Strategy.
- Deliver insightful recommendations to the Ancillary team to identify revenue-increasing opportunities.
- Generate proactive forecasts and performance reports to support effective decision making.
- Create and maintain detailed business insight tools, dashboards, and reports to streamline business processes.
- Regularly prepare and present reports on ancillary revenue performance, including comprehensive reconciliations with partners.
- Perform additional duties as required to ensure smooth and effective function of the unit.

Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent qualification is mandatory.
- Experience with fare product management and incentive schemes for trade partners is advantageous.
- Familiarity with current ancillary services, products, and emerging technologies is preferred.
- Capable of collaborating and negotiating effectively in a diverse, multicultural workplace.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and data analysis tools.
- Excellent analytical, planning, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Fluent written and spoken communication in English is essential.

Qualification and Experience Details
- For candidates without a degree: High school diploma, vocational qualification, or diploma (role-dependent) with at least 5 years relevant work experience.
