Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced real estate lawyer with expertise in property transactions, title verifications, and dispute resolution. The role involves managing real estate due diligence, joint ventures, and builder-buyer agreements, specifically focusing on commercial property assessments and residential title certifications.
Key Duties
- Validate property ownership to confirm absence of legal encumbrances or debts.
- Draft and review sale contracts, lease agreements, and builder-buyer documentation.
- Advocate for clients facing property disputes, tenant conflicts, or filing complaints through MahaRERA regarding delayed projects.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations including land use permissions and environmental clearances.
- Examine CIDCO transfer documents, ensuring proper legal clearance of leased lands.
- Assess validity of Commencement Certificates issued by Navi Mumbai or Panvel municipal authorities.
- Verify litigation records for projects through the MahaRERA online portal.
Qualifications and Skills
- Possession of a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree or equivalent legal certification.
- Active enrollment to practice law as recognized by the local bar council.
- Comprehensive knowledge of property laws, contract legislation, and municipal regulations relevant to real estate.
- Effective negotiation and communication abilities to mediate between buyers, sellers, and developers.
