Role Overview

This is a full-time, field-based position in Kampala, where you will be responsible for developing and sustaining strong long-term relationships with both tenants and landlords using the RentBeta platform. The role centers on onboarding new users, helping them understand platform features, and offering continuous support to keep engagement and satisfaction high. You will identify client needs early, address issues, gather feedback, and work closely with internal teams to strengthen service delivery and improve internal processes.

Key Duties

• Meet clients regularly, carry out follow-ups, and maintain active engagement with both renters and landlords.
• Introduce new clients to the platform and guide them through its features and use cases.
• Monitor account activity and performance, and prepare reports on client interactions and outcomes.
• Respond to client concerns, help resolve issues, and collect feedback for service improvement.
• Support outreach efforts that increase platform adoption and encourage client retention.
• Represent RentBeta during partner visits and local events while maintaining a consistent on-site presence.
• Work with internal teams to improve workflows, user experience, and overall client support.

Skills and Qualifications

• Proven ability in client relationship management and account handling, with strong stakeholder engagement and customer service skills.
• Clear communication and interpersonal strengths, including listening, negotiation, and presentation.
• Sales and business development capability, especially in prospecting and nurturing leads.
• Basic analytical and reporting ability, with attention to detail and comfort tracking performance metrics.
• Confidence using digital products and fintech tools, including explaining features and resolving simple user issues.
• Strong organization and time management to balance multiple client needs and deadlines.
• Background in financial services, real estate, property management, or a related area is an added advantage.
• Diploma or degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred, though equivalent relevant experience may also be considered.
• Ability to work in the field in Kampala, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and adapt to a fast-moving, mission-led environment.

The role requires regular in-person work and direct interaction with customers and partners. A strong fit for this position will be someone who enjoys relationship building, can manage multiple priorities, and is comfortable representing the company externally while supporting client success.
