Job description
Role Overview
ROBAR Personnel is hiring experienced civil labourers for a major deep drainage project at the Port of Brisbane. The assignment is expected to continue until the end of October. Alongside this project, the business has a strong backlog of secured work in Brisbane, interstate, and possibly future FIFO assignments, creating scope for stability and longer-term growth for the right person.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Providing spotter support for plant operators to help maintain a safe and efficient worksite
- Carrying out trenching, shovelling, backfilling, and pipe-support tasks
- Assisting with deep drainage activities and general civil labour duties
- Handling site clean-up, moving materials, and completing other tasks needed to keep the project on track
- Helping maintain a strong safety-first culture and adhering to all site procedures
What You’ll Need
- A valid White Card is compulsory
- Prior experience in civil labouring is required
- Tickets for machinery such as excavators, skid steers, or rollers will be viewed very favourably
- An HR licence is an advantage
- Solid awareness of safety practices and the ability to follow instructions
- Good physical fitness for trenching and manual site work
- Reliable transport to and from the Port of Brisbane
Work Arrangements
The available roles are mainly based in Brisbane and the surrounding region, with several work scopes on offer. There may also be interstate work and future FIFO opportunities depending on performance and project needs.
