Knitwear Fashion Designer, OPUS, Hamburg (m/w/d)

Role overview

Simplicity networks is looking for a creative knitwear fashion designer to help drive the continued growth of its OPUS and someday brands across Europe. The team works with a strong focus on detail, ambitious goals, and a fresh approach to shopping and brand development. The role is based at the design loft in central Hamburg.

The company is seeking a team-oriented designer with experience in the fashion industry and a clear focus on knitwear for at least the past 2 years.

What you will do

• Develop collections within your product group from the initial concept through to the final product.
• Track market movements and fashion trends through ongoing analysis.
• Support your work with supplier and trade fair visits in Germany and abroad.
• Work on collections within a fast-paced 12-month collection cycle.

What you bring

• A completed degree in fashion design.
• At least 2 years of professional experience as a designer; experience working in a 12-month collection cycle is an advantage.
• Confident use of Illustrator, Photoshop, and MS Office.
• Very good English skills.
• A structured way of working and strong organisational ability.
