Key Duties

• Keep the kitchen clean and tidy in accordance with Canterbury’s quality expectations.
• Support chefs with food preparation and general kitchen tasks.
• Follow safe work procedures, with strong attention to Work, Health and Safety.
• Clean and look after dishwashing equipment and related kitchen machinery.
• Apply sound knowledge of food safety and Work, Health and Safety requirements.

Candidate Profile

• Must have unrestricted work rights in Australia.
• Comfortable handling multiple tasks and staying effective under pressure.
• Prior experience in a busy, high-volume kitchen environment.
• A proactive approach and a willingness to develop new skills.
• Able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team.
• Possession of a Safe Food Handling Certification.
• Available for a rotating 7-day roster, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
