Kids Club Attendant

About the Role

This position is based at Banana Island Resort Doha by Anantara, part of the global Minor Hotels group operating a diverse range of over 530 properties worldwide. As a Kids Club Attendant, you will play an essential role in providing exceptional childcare services, helping to nurture and develop children's talents and ensuring their safety and wellbeing under the guidance of the Entertainment & Recreation Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Display genuine care and patience while interacting with children, managing situations calmly and thoughtfully.
• Continuously supervise the play area to maintain a safe and hazard-free environment.
• Regularly sanitize toys, play equipment, and games to keep them safe and inviting.
• Maintain detailed records for each child, noting behavior, activities, meals, medications, and other relevant information, and communicate daily updates to parents.
• Design and implement daily age-appropriate lesson plans that are fun and engaging, promoting active involvement of each child.
• Engage with children in educational activities such as reading, arts and crafts, music, and singing.
• Handle administrative tasks including signing children in and out and documenting any special needs.
• Adhere strictly to health, safety, and security policies and procedures.
• Act promptly and correctly in challenging or emergency situations.

Required Qualifications

• Prior experience working as a Kids Club Attendant.
• Excellent listening skills and a lively, engaging personality.
• Compassionate, caring, and patient nature.
• Ability to create and lead enjoyable learning activities for children.
• Proficient in English; knowledge of additional languages is favorable.
