Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Key Account Manager specializing in the coffee sector to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role focuses on selling coffee products and espresso/coffee machines specifically to HORECA (Hotels, Restaurants, Cafés) and Office Coffee Service (OCS) clients. The position demands hands-on knowledge and experience within the coffee industry rather than general FMCG or F&B sales expertise.
Key Responsibilities
- Target and secure sales opportunities in the coffee and coffee equipment market.
- Manage client relationships, conduct business reviews, and oversee contractual commitments related to coffee supply and machine maintenance/upgrades.
- Develop new accounts within HORECA and OCS sectors, ensuring maximum sales penetration for coffee products and equipment.
- Collaborate on strategic planning and implement business strategies tailored for coffee and HORECA clients.
- Handle client issues and complaints concerning coffee product quality and machine performance by coordinating with technical and training teams.
- Work alongside the Key Accounts Manager and marketing teams to support coffee-focused branding initiatives and social media campaigns.
- Prepare pricing proposals and negotiate quotations to optimize sales of coffee machines and related equipment.
- Maintain a research-oriented approach to client meetings and ensure consistent productivity with thorough reporting.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field from a recognized university.
- Minimum of 3 years' direct sales experience in the coffee industry, particularly in selling coffee machines, espresso equipment, or coffee brewing devices to HORECA, OCS, or café clients.
- Experience with coffee roasteries, equipment distributors, manufacturers, or coffee-centric F&B companies is highly valued.
Skills Required
- Fluency in English and Arabic, with proficiency in additional native languages considered an advantage.
- Strong command of MS Office applications, especially Excel.
- Comprehensive knowledge of coffee machinery types (espresso machines, bean-to-cup, filter systems) and coffee product categories.
- Excellent communication, organizational, problem-solving, and negotiation abilities.
