Role Overview
Reporting directly to the Director of Sales, the Key Account Executive will manage and support retail, grocery, wholesale, multicultural, and ecommerce accounts. Responsibilities include coordinating account activities, tracking sales metrics, facilitating product listings and promotions, and driving commercial growth strategies across physical and digital sales channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and support assigned retail, grocery, wholesale, multicultural, and regional customer accounts with activities such as relationship management, sales follow-ups, and commercial execution.
- Maintain and update product listings, pricing, promotional plans, and customer documentation.
- Track sales performance, product movement, and customer requirements, aiding in retail growth and trade offers.
- Collaborate with internal departments like Sales, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, QA, and Operations to resolve customer concerns, pricing issues, inventory coordination, and service-level matters.
- Conduct customer visits, market analysis, and field follow-ups as necessary.
- Manage ecommerce marketplace activities including Amazon Seller Central, Walmart Marketplace, and others—handling product listings, pricing, promotions, inventory monitoring, and compliance.
- Use data tools to identify sales opportunities, optimize listings, and support online order flow and content updates.
- Prepare and analyze sales reports, account summaries, promotional efficacy, and margin impact while working closely with finance on deductions and claims.
- Support new business development by identifying growth prospects, onboarding new customers, and assisting sales strategy execution.
- Monitor competitor movements, market trends, and retail execution to maintain competitive positioning.
Qualifications & Requirements
- A minimum of 3 to 4 years of experience in CPG/FMCG market sales, key account management, DSD for major retail accounts, ecommerce account management, or business development.
- Proven experience within grocery, retail, wholesale, multicultural trade, food distribution, or ecommerce channels.
- Practical knowledge of platforms such as Amazon Seller Central, Walmart Marketplace, Retail Link, GS1, or equivalent systems.
- Strong competency in managing product listings, pricing, promotional activities, sales reporting, and follow-ups.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for handling sales data and analyses.
- Effective verbal and written English communication abilities.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and relationship-management skills.
- Capable of thriving in fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and multi-departmental settings.
- Preferred educational background includes post-secondary studies in Business, Sales, Marketing, Ecommerce, or Supply Chain; relevant practical experience is considered equivalent.
- Must be legally authorized to work and reside in Canada, and hold a valid Canadian driver’s license with access to a reliable vehicle.
Compensation & Benefits
- Annual salary ranging from $70,000 to $80,000, dependent on experience and skill set.

Employment Details
- Type: Full-time, permanent position.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, with occasional weekends as necessary.
