Role overview

We are looking for a dependable and motivated store detective to join a growing security company in Cottbus. The position is permanent, scheduled for 40 hours per week, and can start immediately. Career changers are welcome. The role focuses on protecting retail spaces, preventing theft, and supporting a safe shopping environment.

The pay is between EUR 16.00 and EUR 25.00 per hour, depending on qualification and the nature of the duties assigned.

Key responsibilities

• Keep a close watch on activity inside the sales area and identify behaviour that appears suspicious.
• Carry out routine patrols throughout the store and help safeguard merchandise and stock.
• Record incidents and prepare reports on thefts and other irregular events.
• Work closely with store staff to maintain a secure and pleasant shopping experience.
• Respond promptly and professionally to security alerts and assist with clarifying incidents.
