Job description
About the role
For a growing security-services company, we are looking for dependable and motivated store detectives to join the team in the Bremen area. The position is full-time, based on site, and offers a permanent contract with an immediate start possible. Working hours are 40 hours per week.
What you will do
- Monitor activity on the sales floor and spot behaviour that may indicate theft or other suspicious incidents.
- Carry out regular patrols throughout the store and help protect merchandise and inventory.
- Record incidents carefully and prepare reports on thefts and other irregularities.
- Work closely with store staff to support a safe and secure shopping environment.
- Respond promptly and professionally to security alarms and assist in clarifying incidents.
What we are looking for
- Strong powers of observation and a sharp eye for detail to identify suspicious activity early.
- Good communication skills for teamwork and, when needed, interaction with customers or colleagues.
- The ability to stay calm, composed, and effective in demanding situations.
- Integrity and a high level of responsibility to maintain trust with the company and its customers.
Important values
Excellent customer service is a core priority. The workplace values openness, friendliness, and patience as essential traits. Working with a wide range of people is seen as a positive part of the job, not just a duty.
The industry develops quickly, so the role remains dynamic and varied. A willingness to keep learning and improve continuously is important in order to meet future challenges and deliver the best possible service.
Compensation and benefits
- Hourly pay between 16.00 and 25.00 EUR, depending on qualifications and the type of assignment.
- Predictable working hours.
- Modern work equipment.
- Opportunities to grow within the company.
- A respectful and supportive team environment.
