Position overview

Medicke is looking for a Kalkulator im Metallbau (m/w/d) in Glauchau, Saxony, with an immediate start. The role is centered on the pricing and commercial preparation of demanding facade projects, and it can also be based in Borna. Key responsibilities

• Prepare independent calculations of production and project costs for complex facade projects using bill of quantities documents.
• Clarify technical details and help optimize designs in close coordination with project management and engineering.
• Create quotations and handle incoming and outgoing internal and external inquiries.
• Conduct contract negotiations.
• Assess and calculate additional claim costs.

Candidate profile

• You should have successfully completed a degree in a construction-related or business-related field.
• You need several years of experience in calculating facade projects, ideally involving windows, doors, and aluminum-glass facades.
• Strong knowledge of construction costing and confident use of Logikal or similar software is expected.
• Technical understanding and familiarity with VOB/B and VOB/C are required.
• You should bring analytical thinking, strong communication skills, and a high level of personal initiative.
