Job description
Position overview
Medicke is looking for an experienced Kalkulator (m/w/d) to join the team immediately and support demanding façade projects. The role can be based in Borna or at the company headquarters in Glauchau. In both locations, you can expect short decision-making paths and a supportive working atmosphere.
What you will do
- Take charge of calculating manufacturing and project costs for complex façade projects using bills of quantities.
- Clarify technical details and improve design solutions in close coordination with project management and engineering.
- Prepare quotations and handle both internal and external enquiries.
- Conduct contract negotiations.
- Assess and evaluate costs related to change requests and additional claims.
What you should bring
- A successfully completed degree in a construction-related or business-related field.
- Several years of practical experience in pricing and cost estimation for façade projects, ideally in the field of windows, doors, and aluminium-glass façades.
- Strong knowledge of construction costing and confident use of Logikal or similar software.
- Good technical understanding as well as knowledge of VOB/B and VOB/C.
- Strong analytical thinking, communication skills, and a high level of initiative.
