HudsonGray is a boutique but fast-moving creative agency that delivers full-service marketing and branding work, with a particular emphasis on experiential events. Its client portfolio includes major media, sports, and luxury names such as Netflix, NBCUniversal, and Premier League.

The agency produces a wide mix of live experiences, including television premieres and screenings, press events, consumer activations, live shows, and festivals.

Role overview

The team is seeking a talented Junior to Mid-Level Graphic Designer to join immediately and support projects in Canada through September. This position is focused on event-related design work. Candidates with a UX background will not be considered.

Day-to-day work

  • Create 2D pitch materials for clients, including mood boards and 3D visual renderings.
  • Adapt approved creative layouts into different output formats as needed.
  • Ensure brand guidelines are followed consistently across communications.
  • Produce print-ready design materials for events.
  • Prepare files for print production across both small and large formats.
  • Liaise with print vendors to coordinate output requirements.
  • Enhance and polish 3D mockups and render visuals in Photoshop.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree is required, along with at least three years of professional graphic design experience.
  • Strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, especially InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
  • Comfort using presentation tools such as Google Suite and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with SketchUp and Adobe After Effects is an advantage.
  • Applicants must be able to start right away and be located in Toronto.
  • The role requires availability for at least 20 hours per week initially, with room to increase hours later.
