About Emmaus College
Emmaus College is a Catholic co-educational school serving the eastern suburbs of Melbourne. Founded in 1980, it runs across several campuses in Vermont South, Vermont, and Burwood. Its campus structure includes a Senior Campus in Vermont South for Years 7, 8, 10, 11, and 12, a Junior Campus in Vermont South for K to Year 6, a Year 9 Campus in Vermont, and a VET Campus in Burwood.
Role overview
The college is seeking an energetic and committed Junior School Performing Arts Teacher to begin in Term 3, 2026. This ongoing part-time appointment is 0.40 FTE, with the successful teacher working two days each week.
What the role involves
- Deliver engaging Performing Arts learning for Junior School students.
- Bring strong classroom teaching capability together with practical experience in Dance and Drama.
- Support performance-based learning and contribute to a vibrant arts program.
- Where possible, assist with the planning and coordination of a Junior School production, which will be considered an advantage.
Candidate profile
Applicants should be enthusiastic educators with solid teaching expertise and performance experience in Dance and Drama. A commitment to the values and ethos of a Catholic school is essential.
