3Plex Group is a Malta-based organization specializing in EASA Part CAMO, Part 21 Design, Part 145, and Part 147 Training services catering to a broad range of aviation clients worldwide. As part of their expansion, they seek a Junior Safety Officer to join their team on a full-time basis, assisting the Compliance and Safety Manager.

Role Overview

The Junior Safety Officer will help with the creation, execution, and continual enhancement of the Company’s Safety Management System (SMS). This role ensures adherence to relevant regulatory frameworks and fosters a proactive safety culture. The individual will aid in assessing the effectiveness of compliance via audits, inspections, and collaboration with stakeholders to maintain high safety and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in implementing and sustaining the SMS in alignment with EASA, TMCAD, and other regulations.
  • Support identification of hazards, risk evaluations, and risk mitigation initiatives.
  • Maintain and update the risk register and safety action plans.
  • Aid in the safety reporting processes, including accident and occurrence reporting systems.
  • Help investigate incidents and hazards under guidance.
  • Monitor and follow up on safety performance indicators and objectives.
  • Assist with internal safety audits and inspections, maintaining accurate records of findings and corrective action progress.
  • Keep safety documentation and records organized and current.
  • Support the preparation and delivery of safety training and promote awareness activities.
  • Advise staff on safety-related concerns and ensure integration of safety into daily operations.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Minimum of one year experience in aviation safety or a related compliance monitoring role (preferred).
  • Basic knowledge of Safety Management Systems and familiarity with aviation regulatory frameworks such as EASA.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, communication, and reporting capabilities.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive safety information.
  • Team-oriented with capacity to follow supervisory direction.
