Job Overview
This role entails supporting the daily financial operations related to revenue and settlements by accurately recording transactions, preparing reconciliations, and ensuring payment gateway activities are completed promptly and in accordance with company policies and accounting standards.
Primary Responsibilities
- Record daily revenue and payment gateway transactions systematically.
- Prepare reconciliations for settlements and host disbursements to maintain accuracy.
- Handle manual adjustments and post accounting entries for revenue.
- Continuously monitor settlement differences and escalate issues when discrepancies are found.
- Assist with reconciling payment gateway accounts and compiling revenue reports.
- Maintain thorough financial records alongside the necessary supporting documentation.
- Ensure adherence to internal control measures and accounting policies.
- Work collaboratively with various internal teams to address and resolve any settlement problems.
Candidate Requirements
- Possess a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related discipline.
- Have between 1 and 3 years of relevant experience in accounting, finance, or managing revenue operations.
- Preferably experienced with payment gateway or marketplace transaction processes.
- Capable of managing large volumes of financial data efficiently.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with financial reporting software tools.
