Role Summary
This position is for a Junior Recruiter or Talent Acquisition Intern to work on a 6-month contract. It is designed for someone at the start of their HR or recruitment journey who wants practical exposure in a high-energy global startup environment.
The role focuses on assisting with candidate sourcing, application screening, and coordination across the hiring process. A strong willingness to learn and a reliable work ethic are essential. Based on performance and contribution, there is a real opportunity to move into a permanent Junior Recruiter position after the contract ends.
Key Responsibilities
- Support candidate sourcing through job boards, LinkedIn, social platforms, and online communities to help maintain a healthy talent pipeline.
- Review applications and resumes, arrange interviews, and keep communication flowing between applicants and hiring managers.
- Help keep recruitment records accurate and contribute to periodic team progress reports.
- Represent the company professionally and help create a smooth, positive experience for candidates throughout the hiring journey.
- Collaborate with senior recruiters and hiring managers to better understand role needs and contribute to a fair, efficient recruitment process.
- Assist with administrative and business-partnering tasks as needed.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a bachelor's program in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, Communications, or a similar discipline.
- Strong interest in recruitment, talent acquisition, or people operations; prior internship or volunteer exposure in HR/recruitment is helpful but not mandatory.
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken.
- Comfort using social platforms, especially LinkedIn, along with basic recruiting tools; experience with Google Workspace or MS Office is an advantage.
- Clear, professional communication skills and the confidence to interact with candidates and internal stakeholders.
- Well-organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage several tasks at once.
- Self-driven, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-changing startup setting.
- Cooperative mindset, openness to feedback, and ability to work well with others.
