Job description

About the role

Lovehoney Group is a global sexual wellbeing brand focused on improving pleasure through innovative technology, a data-led mindset, and fresh ideas about intimacy. The company sells high-quality sex toys, lingerie, and accessories through a smooth online shopping experience and operates with more than 800 people across 11 offices worldwide.

This opening is for a Junior Project Manager focused on physical products, specifically pleasure toys. The role plays an important part in supporting overall business performance and requires close work with Engineering, Product Design, Manufacturing, and Marketing, along with external manufacturing partners based in China.

This is a fixed-term position for up to 12 months.

What you'll do

  • Drive product development from start to finish, including planning, organising team meetings, setting milestones, and keeping delivery on schedule.
  • Handle complex physical product projects, especially multi-item sex toy kits and seasonal lines such as advent calendars, where many SKUs, components, suppliers, and packaging formats must be coordinated.
  • Monitor and manage interdependencies across multiple products within one project to maintain consistency, quality, and launch readiness.
  • Prepare KPI updates covering project progress, cost, timelines, and resource use to create clear operational visibility and show business impact.
  • Contribute to customer and product requirement definition, explore new product ideas, and evaluate feasibility, risks, and commercial impact.
  • Support choices around product group selection and prioritisation so they align with the wider product and category strategy.
  • Work closely with manufacturers and suppliers in China, managing schedules, samples, approvals, and production readiness across time zones.
  • Serve as a central contact point between internal teams and external partners in China, ensuring communication stays structured and follow-ups are handled effectively.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to help deliver product launches that are timely, high quality, and compliant with regulatory, commercial, and brand expectations.

What you need

  • A strong interest in physical product development and a solid understanding of the full product journey from concept through mass production.
  • A degree in economics, business administration, marketing, engineering, or a similar field.
  • Good coordination ability, ideally gained in international and cross-functional environments, with confidence working across cultures and time zones.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage complex projects with many parallel workstreams.
  • Excellent organisation, prioritisation, and time-management skills.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with project management tools is an advantage.
  • Clear written and spoken English communication skills; prior experience with Chinese suppliers or manufacturing partners is highly preferred.
  • A structured, proactive, and solution-focused approach in a fast-moving product environment.

What the company offers

  • A friendly workplace with drinks, snacks, team events, and a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Special discounts with retailers, hotels, and service providers, plus a 50% discount on Lovehoney products.
  • A hybrid working setup with three in-office days per week and the ability to work remotely for up to 4 weeks per year.
  • 25 days of holiday, plus one extra day for each year of service.
  • Tailored training support, along with biannual feedback cycles to help guide growth and development.
  • Gym benefits and access to a mental wellbeing platform.
  • A complimentary 1Password Family account that can be shared with up to five family members.
