Role Overview

The company is looking for a Junior PR Specialist to join its in-house Public Relations & Communications team in Munich immediately. In this position, you will help strengthen the brand presence of Giorgio Armani across Germany and Austria through coordinated communication and PR initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Increase awareness of the Giorgio Armani brand in Germany and Austria through targeted public relations and communications activities.
  • Ensure a consistent brand-aligned presence across print, digital, and social media channels.
  • Build, maintain, and grow relationships with journalists, stylists, influencers, and opinion leaders.
  • Independently plan, organize, and support PR events, store openings, collection launches, and editorial projects in close cooperation with local and international partners.
  • Take ownership of full sample coordination in close alignment with the headquarters in Milan.
  • Support influencers, talents, and VIPs, and manage the social media area including influencer mapping, advisory support, relationship management, reporting, and collaborations.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and editorial content.
  • Plan, organize, and accompany local PR events.
  • Implement global PR guidelines to ensure unified brand communication.

Requirements

  • A completed degree in communications, public relations, journalism, or a related field.
  • At least 4 years of relevant professional experience in the fashion or lifestyle industry, ideally gained in an agency or an international company.
  • Strong knowledge of the media landscape in Germany and Austria, including print, online, and social media.
  • A creative and proactive personality with a strong sense for fashion and lifestyle trends.
  • Good familiarity with the German influencer and talent scene, plus confident use of social media platforms.
  • Independent, well-structured working style combined with teamwork and a high level of commitment.
  • Fluent business-level German and English; Italian is an advantage.
  • Confident in MS Office; experience with industry tools such as Launchmetrics is a plus.
