Overview
Join Scottish Rugby as a Junior Physiotherapist and play a vital role in delivering outstanding clinical care to our professional Glasgow Warriors rugby players. This position offers a dynamic environment where you will enhance your physiotherapy skills through work in an elite sports context and under expert mentorship.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert clinical physiotherapy support to players of the Glasgow Warriors rugby squad.
- Administer acute treatment interventions promptly as injuries occur during training and matches.
- Assist with rehabilitation protocols to promote effective recovery for injured athletes.
- Implement strategies to reduce injury risks among team members.
- Develop professionally within a structured mentorship programme focusing on elite sports physiotherapy.
Qualifications and Experience
- Must hold a degree in physiotherapy alongside current HCPC registration.
- Prior experience supporting physiotherapy in sports, musculoskeletal, or performance settings is required.
- Demonstrate strong skills in clinical assessment, decision-making, and rehabilitation planning.
- Competent in managing acute injuries, treatment procedures, and coordinating return-to-play plans.
- Highly motivated to learn and grow within a professional mentorship framework in elite rugby.
