About the Company
Catalyst Growth is a digital marketing agency focused on sharp ideas and high-impact visuals. Its core work spans UGC advertising, static creatives, and motion design, supporting fast-scaling DTC brands around the world to improve engagement and expand their digital presence.
Role Overview
This opening is for a creative and adaptable Junior to Midweight Graphic Designer to join the design function. The position centres on crafting paid social creative that helps brands stand out, from attention-grabbing memes and carousel ads to effective static ad assets.
The job combines content creation with performance-driven design, making it a strong fit for someone who stays on top of social trends and can turn them into visuals that perform.
Responsibilities
- Create and deliver paid social assets for client accounts, including branded static ads, carousel formats, and meme-style creatives.
- Help shape ideas for paid social content and gradually take ownership of concept development for client work.
- Work closely with internal colleagues and clients to translate briefs into effective creative output.
- Use performance insights and data to refine ideas into stronger, higher-converting ad creatives.
- Track emerging formats, design trends, and platform changes across Instagram, TikTok, and similar channels.
- Produce polished, platform-ready visuals using Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and related design tools.
- Participate in a constructive team feedback process and contribute to improving creative output.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of professional design experience, ideally gained in a digital marketing or agency environment.
- A portfolio demonstrating strong visual judgement and familiarity with social-first creative work.
- Strong working knowledge of Figma and Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects.
- Practical use of LLMs for ideation, copy support, and image generation.
- Comfort working in a fast-moving environment where creative priorities can shift quickly.
- Experience working with DTC brands is preferred.
- Interest in AI design tools and a willingness to experiment with new approaches.
- Clear communication skills and confidence collaborating with both clients and internal teams.
- Self-directed working style with the ability to take responsibility for workload and client deliverables.
Work Arrangement
This is a hybrid role based in London, with 2 days each week in the Elephant & Castle office.
