Position summary
Bridgestone is looking for a Junior Marketing Specialist to join the Events & Digital area as soon as possible. The role is based in Frankfurt am Main and is structured as a full-time, permanent position with hybrid working.
About the company
Bridgestone Americas, Inc. and Bridgestone Europe, Middle East and Africa form the strategic region known as Bridgestone West. Together, they support business needs across the Americas, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. Both are subsidiaries of Bridgestone Corporation, headquartered in Japan. The group develops, manufactures, and markets a wide range of products and solutions under the Bridgestone, Firestone, and other brands for customers and industries worldwide.
Key responsibilities
You will help plan, execute, and wrap up trade fairs, events, and other gatherings while ensuring all activities reflect the company identity and brand values. In addition, you will support the EMEA headquarters with the organization and delivery of international trade fair appearances and events.
A major part of the role is keeping every event running smoothly by working closely with internal teams, external partners, and service providers. You will also manage invitations and participants end to end and coordinate all event-related services.
The position includes designing event and trade fair formats, as well as developing and sourcing marketing and promotional materials. You will also support brand activation initiatives for Bridgestone and Firestone, including KPI tracking, performance analysis, and reporting to help ensure a strong return on investment.
Another focus is making sure corporate identity guidelines are followed across all channels. You will prepare presentations and decision-making materials for management and the EMEA headquarters, and you will coordinate agencies and external vendors, including quotation handling, translation coordination, and support with digital communications and administrative tasks.
Requirements
You should hold a completed degree in marketing, communications, event management, or an equivalent qualification. Relevant hands-on experience in marketing and events across online and offline channels is expected, preferably gained in a corporate environment or an agency and ideally within the tire or automotive sector.
Strong command of MS Office is required, and first experience with CMS, CRM, or marketing tools would be an advantage. The role also requires mobility and willingness to travel, along with a valid category B driving licence.
Very good written and spoken German and English skills are necessary. In addition, the ideal candidate brings creativity, a strong sense for audience-focused communication, curiosity for digital trends, enthusiasm for new challenges, team spirit, initiative, and a practical, hands-on approach.
