Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and assist with corporate funding operations for the Uniper Group, spanning both debt and equity markets.
- Contribute actively to enhancing Uniper's partnerships with principal banking institutions.
- Support the creation of innovative, customized financing solutions that prioritize ESG goals, facilitate strategic investments, and uphold Uniper's credit ratings.
- Coordinate and support project financing or structured finance projects in collaboration with both internal teams and external partners.
- Assist in reprivatisation projects for Uniper SE—including potential private sales or re-IPO—and M&A initiatives from a financing and credit rating perspective.
- Design and refine legal documentation for various financing instruments, such as syndicated/bilateral loans, bonds, and private placements.
- Compile and present prompt, well-prepared decision proposals to senior leadership and governance bodies.
Candidate Profile
- Possess an excellent university degree in Business Administration, Economics, Law, or a related finance/banking discipline.
- Have initial professional exposure to corporate finance, including transaction preparation and execution within international corporations, global banks, or Big 4 consultancies.
- Demonstrate strong understanding of international financing markets, with strategic insight into the energy sector, credit rating mechanisms, and ESG considerations.
- Show interest and some experience in finance law, including reviewing and negotiating financing agreements.
- Exhibit advanced analytical capabilities paired with a structured and solution-focused mindset.
- Team-oriented, with some experience leading sub-projects.
- Strong communication and presentation talents.
- Positive attitude towards change, with initiative-driven approach to progressing projects.
- Capable of managing pressure and adhering to strict deadlines.
- Proficient in MS Office tools, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Fluent in English, with German language skills considered advantageous.
