Position Overview
The Junior Key Account Manager in Ghana will be responsible for driving category sales and enhancing platform assortment by managing strategic relationships with a broad group of mid-tier and emerging sellers. This role uses automated platforms, self-service systems, and standardized protocols to efficiently optimize multiple vendor accounts, deepen inventory, and increase seller engagement during key promotional events.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, onboard, and enhance a large portfolio of long-tail sellers to broaden product assortment and increase inventory variety on Jumia Ghana.
- Ensure high-quality content, competitive pricing strategies, and consistent product availability across numerous emerging SKUs.
- Track operational key performance indicators such as seller fulfillment rates, stock shortages, and daily revenue generation.
- Leverage self-service tools, automated workflows, and standardized communications to handle numerous vendor accounts effectively.
- Encourage vendor participation in significant Jumia shopping events like Black Friday, Tech Week, and the Anniversary sales.
Candidate Profile
- Possess a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or related disciplines with hands-on experience in e-commerce or account management.
- Demonstrated success managing extensive portfolios of vendors or sellers in a marketplace framework.
- Strong analytical skills to monitor fulfillment metrics, analyze sales patterns, and assess the health of product catalogs.
- Proficient in using scalable communication platforms, CRM tools, and automated technologies to enhance account operations.
- Exceptional communication and persuasive abilities to drive seller motivation and engagement during campaigns.
