Role Description
The Provencher Roy interior design team currently seeks a Junior Interior Designer to contribute to diverse and impactful projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop architectural plans, execution drawings, specifications, and related documentation.
- Review and facilitate approval of workshop drawings.
- Conduct space planning studies, design concepts, and furniture selection alongside the project manager.
- Prepare client presentations including plans and models.
- Perform space surveys, inventories, and furnish recommendations as needed.
- Calculate area measurements accurately.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree or DEC in Interior Design.
- At least two years of relevant professional experience.
- Eligibility to obtain a federal Secret level security clearance is mandatory.
- Proficient in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit is a plus.
- Familiarity with SketchUp, InDesign, and Photoshop.
- Strong bilingual communication skills in French and English; frequent interactions and meetings occur in both languages, including with Ottawa office partners.
