Role Description

The Provencher Roy interior design team currently seeks a Junior Interior Designer to contribute to diverse and impactful projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop architectural plans, execution drawings, specifications, and related documentation.
• Review and facilitate approval of workshop drawings.
• Conduct space planning studies, design concepts, and furniture selection alongside the project manager.
• Prepare client presentations including plans and models.
• Perform space surveys, inventories, and furnish recommendations as needed.
• Calculate area measurements accurately.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree or DEC in Interior Design.
• At least two years of relevant professional experience.
• Eligibility to obtain a federal Secret level security clearance is mandatory.
• Proficient in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit is a plus.
• Familiarity with SketchUp, InDesign, and Photoshop.
• Strong bilingual communication skills in French and English; frequent interactions and meetings occur in both languages, including with Ottawa office partners.
