This is a fixed-term position for 1 year.

Role overview

In this role, you will handle day-to-day HR administration across the employee lifecycle and support both employees and managers with operational personnel matters. You will work closely with payroll, maintain HR data and records, and contribute to HR projects, recruiting activities, and process improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Independently manage employee joining and leaving processes, including ongoing refinement of onboarding and offboarding workflows.
  • Handle the full range of administrative HR tasks across the employee lifecycle, such as preparing employment contracts, contract amendments, references, and certificates.
  • Maintain personnel files and HR systems, with responsibility for document control and data accuracy.
  • Work closely with payroll, including preparatory payroll tasks and coordination with external service providers.
  • Serve as a point of contact for employees and managers on routine HR matters and ensure compliance with labour law requirements.
  • Support HR projects, recruitment activities, and the further development of HR processes and policies.

Requirements

  • A completed degree with a focus on business administration or human resources, or a comparable commercial qualification with relevant additional training.
  • Ideally, some initial professional experience in a similar role.
  • Solid knowledge of labour law and social insurance law, as well as handling occupational pension arrangements.
  • A strong sense of accuracy, care, and reliability.
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office applications.
  • Very good German skills and good English skills.
